As much as Romulo Pires loves his modeling career, he fondly maintains a personal life that is rich with family, friends and adventure. He comes from a family of 13 children, which might explain his affable personality and cooperative attitude. Upon signing his first modeling contract, his mother was extraordinarily proud of Romulo, not just for changing his own life for the better, but for helping to improve the lives of his entire family.

Flashing his brilliant smile and brooding bedroom eyes into the cameras of famous editorial photographers, he has gained quite a number of fans who adore him. His advice on dating is simply to work your hardest to find someone who cares about you, so you can care wholeheartedly about them back.

Maintaining such a strong, sculpted physique is easy for Romulo because he engages in a daily exercise and diet routine. Romulo runs daily, and eats six small meals throughout the day to keep his metabolism running high. For fun, exercise, and for keeping those perfect muscles toned, he also plays soccer and practices the combat sport Muay Thai.

Romulo Pires’ typical non-working day includes playing pool or cards with friends, going to the bar or theater with friends or playing tennis. Some of the people Romulo counts among his friends include fellow models Philip Huang, Owen Steuart, and Evandro Soldati.

Romulo is fond of traveling the world for modeling, and one of his favorite memories is when he traveled to Shibuya Crossing in Japan. He was there with Karl Lagerfeld for a W Magazine shoot, and when the Japanese spotted Karl, they became entranced, because they consider him the “Fashion Emperor.” The models were lost in this crowd of thousands, and when they finally found each other, they were jubilant and laughing and the shoot came together beautifully with the sea of Japanese people as their background.
