Romulo Pires: Rockin Around the Christmas Tree

Romulo Pires

Romulo Pires is a man’s man. As a boy, he dreamt of playing professional soccer and as a teenager he worked as a mechanic. He practices the Oriental combat sport, Muay Thai, plays the ukulele, and hangs out with his friends going to bars, movies, and playing pool. He owns four dogs, two Jack Russell Terriers and two Pugs, and he would ultimately, at some point in his life; love to become the star of a mobster movie. Romulo Pires is also a ladies’ man, he is tall, elegant, has a face and body like a Roman God and a smile like an angel whose head is filled with devilishly delightful thoughts. This Christmas, you’ll find him rockin’ around the Christmas tree with Valeria Garcia in Tiffany & Co.’s new Christmas campaign ads, where his is every woman’s fantasy gift.

Romulo Pires: Debonair and Dapper in New Holiday Ads

Romulo Pires

The new Tiffany & Co. Christmas campaign accomplishes what it set out to do: it leaves the public breathless with anticipatory dreams of an effervescent, uncluttered holiday immersed in a non-traditional yet curiously-fitting robin egg blue. Photographed by Tim Gutt, Romulo Pires is the face of the campaign and brings his warmth and visual charisma to the snowy Christmas ads. Tiffany’s stylish take on 50’s holiday flyers is the perfect platform for Romulo Pires to display his masculine grace, classic appeal, and timeless elegance. An established Brazilian model, Romulo Pires has a decade of modeling experience and has also worked for greats such as Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Emanuel Ungaro, Gucci and Carolina Herrera. He has also worked on the cK1 and Christian Lacroix’s Absynthe fragrance campaigns doing what Romulo does best, embodying every woman’s ultimate fantasy with his alluring charm.

Romulo Pires: A Model for Every Season

Romulo Pires

Chiseled, stunning, gorgeous. Tall and stately, Romulo Pires has the face of an angel, but is also deliciously, devilishly handsome. Hailing from sweltering hot Brazil, Romulo is of both Brazilian and Italian descent, and he has been commissioned by nearly every luxury brand in the world for print ads, commercials, runway shows, and editorials. His permeating charm and charisma allow him to shine in any surrounding and any season. His flawless olive skin warms winter ads beautifully, as in the recent Tiffany & Co. holiday campaign depicting Romulo and Valeria Garcia amidst a dazzling turquoise and white urban holiday setting. Conversely, Romulo’s bare chest and pseudo-sweaty locks sizzle in the CK1 “We are One” fragrance commercial set in the American southwest. It’s clear that Romulo Pires’ inner warmth and fire easily add the heat necessary to make any campaign jump from the page and into the viewer’s heart.

Romulo Pires – Sensuous Model and Action Hero Wannabe

Romulo Pires

Creating a sensation wherever he goes, Romulo Pires has been the go-to model for dozens of opulent brands for over a decade. Fully at home with being in front of the camera, Brazilian-born model Romulo Pires readily admits that between shoots in Milan, Paris, Japan and wherever else his hectic schedule takes him, he dreams of being the next action hero. “If I could work with anyone, it would be Martin Scorsese. He is the quintessential mafia/mob movie director and acting in one of his movies would fulfill a huge dream of mine.” Romulo Pires loves actions films, especially old mafia movies and with his dark tousled hair, piercing green eyes, imposing 6’2” stance and charming hyperactivity, who’s to say he won’t just become Mr. Scorsese’s next movie darling?

Romulo Pires is the Face of Luxury

Romulo Pires

Romulo Pires was born with a face that few people can ignore. In fact, as a model, he has proven this time and again with his collaborations with some of the most well-known luxury brands in the world. He has secured ad campaigns with Gucci, Pepe Jeans, Carolina Herrera, Christian Lacroix, Valentino, among countless others. He has starred in Chanel and Lagerfeld Gallery ad campaigns and has modeled for the Louis Vuitton catalog. At 6’2”, his lithe and sexy physique has graced the pages of both the Spanish and Korean GQ magazine. Emanuel Ungaro took full advantage of this model’s incredible sex appeal by putting him in bed with two women for one of his ad campaigns. After a decade in the business, his sex appeal is only increasing, and Romulo Pires shows no signs of slowing down.

Romulo Pires Welcomes Challenges As They Come

Romulo Pires

Being one among 13 children, Romulo was raised with the innate ability to accept and successfully hurdle any challenge. Working as a mechanic at the age of 18, he was spotted by a model talent scout and won first place at the Elite Model Management of Brazil model search.

Romulo Pires

Since the beginning, this tall, cool glass of water has taken on life like a matador. Whether he is walking the catwalk in Paris or Milan, or kissing Madonna during a “W” magazine shoot, Romulo Pires is proud to be the face of Gucci, Valentino, and the dozens of other luxury brands that have used his classic visage to represent them. “Challenges can reveal themselves practically anywhere,” Romulo Pires said, speaking of the time when he and Karl Lagerfeld of Chanel were lost in a sea of Japanese people at Shibuia Crossing. A challenge at the time, he admits, but now, a beloved memory.

Romulo Pires: Drop Dead Gorgeous with a Huge Heart

Romulo Pires

Italian-Brazilian model Romulo Pires didn’t always dream of being a model. In fact, his dreams were set on the soccer field, where he imagined earning the praise and love of his fellow Brazilians by being a star soccer player. The universe had a different idea, however, and one day when he was 18, it set his life spinning into the path of modeling. A decade has passed and he hasn’t looked back. He hasn’t had time to! Between global jet setting to Japan, Milan, and the Americas, Romulo Pires has taken the modeling world by storm, and has refused to let go of the reigns. His classic chiseled looks and breathtaking smile has not only won over the world of modeling, but the public in general. Women everywhere adore his boyish good looks that achingly betray his affable nature.

Model Romulo Pires Up-close and Personal

As a member of Brazilian “Royalty,” Romulo Pires has been modeling for luxury magazines and walking runways for top designers for the past decade. He is proud of his many accomplishments including being the face for Gucci, Pepe Jeans, Christian Lacroix, Lagerfeld Gallery, cK1, Macy’s, Cartier, Valentino, and many others.  His modeling career has taken him all over the world including Milan, Paris, and Japan. He has withstood brutal weather conditions all for the sake of “getting just the right shot.”

But modeling isn’t the only thing that keeps this handsome devil happy. He is also a huge fan of movies and acting. If given the chance, he says, he would love to act in a film directed by Martin Scorsese, partly because of the director’s brilliance, and partly because Romulo Pires loves action and old mafia movies. Similar to his approach to modeling, he believes that if you’re going to do something, you need to do it 100% right, so his dream doesn’t just include action movies, it also includes acting in dramas, comedies, and thrillers.

Romulo Pires loves music, all kinds of music, but his favorite is popular Brazilian music including Anitta, Luan Santana, and Calvin Harris. During his free time he loves going out with friends to see bands, play pool, and of course, go to the movies. He also loves playing soccer (his first love as a boy), playing tennis, and practicing the combat sport, Muay Thai.

Romulo Pires

Since he was “discovered” while working as a mechanic at the tender age of 18, Romulo Pires has never lost sight of his roots. He stays in touch with his large family (13 total sisters and brothers!) and is deeply devoted to his mother, whom, he says, was and continues to be his daily inspiration. While at home in Brazil, he raises four dogs, two Pugs named Fiji and Akiba, and two Jack Russell Terriers named Gaso and Micah. Romulo loves being able to travel home to Brazil to see his family, friends, and pets, but the eclectic side of him pushes him to travel, and that’s why modeling (along with his exquisite good looks), is his true passion.

Romulo Pires – Born for the Camera

Tall, noble, and born with an effervescent charm, Romulo Pires has been gracing runways, print ads, commercials, and women’s hearts for over a decade. He is known for his brilliantly dark wavy hair and penetrating green eyes, along with perfect Roman features and drop-dead gorgeous smile. It was this perfection that Karl Lagerfeld of Chanel first saw when he encountered Romulo. It was this encounter that would embark Romulo on a life-long adventure into modeling and global travel.

Before Karl Lagerfeld had the opportunity to notice Romulo Pires, however, a scout from a modeling agency in Brasilia spotted Romulo at the garage where he was working. She had gotten a flat tire and when Romulo helped her with it, she proclaimed that he was modelesque and should enter a model search. The scout, Marina Sakomoto, probably couldn’t have realized just how accurate her eye was that day. Romulo entered the Elite Model Management model search and was awarded first place.

Romulo Pires

Once Karl Lagerfeld spotted Romulo, his career took off. He soon became the beloved face for many of the world’s luxurious brands like Francesco Smalto, Ck1, Loewe, Cartier, Macy’s, Valentio, Gucci, Pepe Jeans and an impressive host of others. Traveling throughout the world and meeting creative people has served Romulo well, as he considers himself to be highly-eclectic and in continual need of change, including traveling.

His charming, affable personality has won him favor among the designers, stylists, photographers and other creative people in the modeling industry. As a darling among the luxury brands, Romulo Pires is proud to represent some of the most iconic and recognized brands in the world including appearances in magazines such as Glamour, GQ (Spanish and Korean), V Man, Vanity Fair, and Upstreet.

Romulo Pires

Even though Romulo’s modeling career has taken him far and wide across the globe, one of the locations he’d love to explore but has never had the opportunity to is Mt. Everest. Intrigued by the rich history involved with the area, Romulo hopes that one day, either professionally or personally, he can visit the mighty mountain and create his own set of memories there.

Supermodel Romulo Pires Enjoys The Quiet Life

When Brazilian supermodel Romulo Pires was a young boy growing up in Brasilia, Brazil, his life’s ambition was to be a soccer player for the Brazil national football team. However, fate intervened in the guise of modeling scout Marina Sakamoto, and while Romulo was fixing her flat tire at the mechanic’s shop he was employed at, she asked him if he had ever considered modeling. Naturally, the thought hadn’t crossed his mind, but Sakamoto convinced Romulo to compete in a modeling contest being sponsored by Elite Models Management in Brazil. Romulo won first place, of course, and was soon performing in ad campaigns for the most renowned fashion houses in the world.

Romulo Pires

He has been seen in catalogues for Bloomingdales, Macy’s, and Neiman Marcus, has appeared in ads for CK One, Cartier, and Christian Lacroix, and has walked runways for everyone from Galliano to Etro. There is almost nobody in the fashion industry who Romulo hasn’t worked with, and the index of renowned photographers who have snapped his profile is almost endless as well, with such famous names as Helmut Newton, Steven Meisel, and Mario Testino at the top of the list.

Romulo Pires

But, when work is finished and the spotlights are taken down, Romulo is most comfortable enjoying the quieter pursuits of life, such as playing his ukulele, or playing cards with his friends, or visiting vintage second hand stores. He admits a fondness for dark chocolate and birthday cakes when he’s not on a shoot, and can often be found taking in the latest movies as a form of relaxation. He also hopes to open a small cafĂ© in Brazil when he decides to retire from modeling, so that one day we can expect to find Romulo Pires sipping on his world famous Brazilian coffee and enjoying a quiet pastry in his home country once he becomes a private citizen again.

Brazilian Model Romulo Pires Considers His Long Term Plans

What does a young person do when they begin thinking about what lies ahead in their future? Although many people don’t really consider their retirement until they get close to retirement age, others, such as Brazilian supermodel Romulo Pires, have begun musing on the possibility of future options long before he will have to consider retirement. For example, when asked recently what he thinks he would be professionally if he didn’t fall into modelling, Romulo replied, “I never stop to think about it, but probably a mechanic.”

Similarly, when asked what he would like to do later in life, Romulo decided that he would like to “open a cafĂ© in Brazil.” Perhaps this is why in his spare time, as if there were any, Romulo takes cooking lessons in preparation for his forthcoming business ventures. As a Brazilian with traces of Italian descent, Romulo grew up in his country’s capital of Brasilia, which hosts a variety of different ethnicities and cultures. As such, Romulo’s hometown offered him a melting pot of culinary choices to experience, so it might be difficult for him to decide which menu directions his cafĂ© might take.

Romulo Pires

For example, he could stick to the obvious choice of a regional coffee bar, as Brazil is as renowned for its emerging cafĂ© culture as for being one of the largest coffee producers in the world. Having also lived in Milan and Paris, though, Romulo could also opt for focusing on Italian or French cuisine, which would also fit in perfectly with Brazil’s multiethnic population. Whichever route he decides to go, it is certain that any type of cafĂ© that Romulo Pires chooses to open will be as successful as his longtime modeling career. However, it will be a long time before any of us find out what he will do in retirement.

Model Romulo Pires Thanks Karl Lagerfeld

Nothing could have prepared Romulo Pires for the levels of achievement and success that his modelling career has bestowed upon him. Romulo's success story is certainly a fairytale come true in many senses, but it hasn't seemed to change him from being the down to earth, respectful individual that he was brought up by his mother to be. When asked what advice he would give to young men aspiring to join the modeling industry, Romulo offers, "Remember the names of the people who help you to be where you are." Although this seems like simple advice, it demonstrates Romulo's enduring regard for his mentors and his influences.

Romulo began his life as a model by chance. He was literally fixing a flat tire while working as a mechanic in his hometown of Brasilia, Brazil, when the lady whose tire he was fixing asked him if he had ever considered modeling. As one of six children being raised by a single mother, the thought of becoming a male model was the furthest thing from his mind. The woman with the flat tire turned out to be scouting agent Marina Sakamoto from the Brazilian branch of Paris' Elite Model Management, and she convinced Romulo to participate in a modeling competition. Naturally, Romulo won first place, and his life of international stardom was launched.

Through his career, Romulo has always taken the time to show his gratitude and pay tribute to those who have helped his career along the way, especially Creative Director for the House of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld. Lagerfeld arrived when Romulo felt his career had reached a lull, and he wasn't getting any work. Romulo believes that Lagerfeld revived his career, which has reached an unprecedented series of peaks since then, with work for brands such as CK One and Cartier, as well as being photographed by such legends as Steven Meisel and Helmut Newton. Perhaps, as Romulo Pires demonstrates, a little kindness does go a long way.

The Unknown Passions Of Romulo Pires

As one of the most in-demand male models working in the fashion industry today, one would think that Brazilian born Romulo Pires had little time left for recreation, leisure, or for learning a new trick or two. Romulo, whose global web of modeling agencies, such as Kult in Hamburg, View in Spain, and Next in Vienna, not to mention his mother agency Bananas in Paris, among many more, obviously keep him working around the world as well as around the clock.

Recently spotted in a Wilcox/Johansson spread for Citizen K Homme Sport, Romulo Pires has called Paris and Milan his home, in addition to his native Brazil, but has recently settled on New York City as his base of operations. Through his extensive travels he has become multilingual, adding Italian and French to his fluency in English, as well as to his native Portuguese. But, when not walking the runway for Louis Vuitton or Giorgio Armani, or appearing as the face of Gucci or being photographed with Madonna for W Magazine, Romulo Pires is quietly pursuing two of his passions, acting and cooking.

In his spare time, Romulo is taking acting lessons, which could turn him into a double threat by the time he combines his model's presence with his actor's chops on the silver screen. Acting could open up a whole new avenue for Romulo, and as the camera obviously loves him and the different looks he can transform himself into, it should only be a matter of time before we hear from him.

However, it is his love of food that has propelled Romulo to pursue cooking classes. He has often spoken of opening up a café if he ever decides to retire from modeling, and by studying the culinary arts, Romulo Pires is on the right track for a future career opportunity. Who wouldn't want to eat at a restaurant owned by one of the most popular Brazilian models working today?

Brazilian Model Romulo Pires Dreams Of Opening Café

Brazilian born male supermodel Romulo Pires may currently reside in Manhattan, and his work may have allowed him to travel all around the world, but when asked what he would like to do when he eventually retires from modelling, Romulo considered something that would bring him home again; he would open a cafĂ© in Brazil. This makes sense on one hand because Brazil is one of the world’s largest coffee exporters, and then on the other hand, Brazil also has some of the best food in the world.

The only thing that seems more natural than opening a cafĂ© in Brazil when one retires would be to play soccer for the Brazil national football team, a dream that Romulo Pires considered before he took up modeling. Although Romulo’s work has required him to travel all over the world, and he has spent time living in Milan and Paris, he has always maintained strong ties to his homeland of Brazil where many of his friends and his family still reside.

Romulo Pires

As a frequent international traveler, Romulo has had the opportunity to sample some of the world’s finest cuisine. Despite his guilty pleasure of occasionally indulging in a piece of dark chocolate, Romulo’s career has made it necessary for him to maintain a strict health and fitness regimen that prevents him from indulging in unhealthy foods or an unwholesome diet.

For example, to maintain his carefully sculpted physique, Romulo is an avid runner who also practices Muay Thai, the martial arts exercise, as well as Bikram Yoga, the intense practice of twenty-six postures which aims to develop strength and flexibility. As Romulo professes to eat six small meals a day, to coincide with his workout schedule, it would be interesting to know what sort of foods he would feature on his cafĂ©’s menu. Since it will be a long, long time before Romulo Pires retires from modelling, I guess we will have to wait.

Romulo Pires Pays Tribute To His Mother

Romulo Pires

You have probably seen the six and one half foot tall Brazilian male model Romulo Pires in any one of hundreds of ads for Gucci, Valentino, or Chanel and not known it. Since he began modeling in 2001, Romulo has worked with the top designers, the best known photographers, and the most respected agencies in the fashion industry. He has counted the legendary Creative Director of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, as one of his mentors since Lagerfeld took him under his wing in 2003.

Romulo felt that his career had fallen into a lull for its first couple of years until Lagerfeld noticed him, hired him to appear in high profile campaigns, and, ultimately, gave Romulo’s career the boost it needed at that time, propelling him into the upper echelons of male modelling.

Romulo Pires

However, if one were to ask Romulo Pires who his biggest influence is, people might be surprised to hear that it is not one of the fashion gurus who he works so closely with, but someone a little closer to home: his mother.

Romulo’s mother, Cleopatra, has been a guiding influence on him since she was required to raise him, his sister, and his three brothers by herself in the Samambaia district of Brazil’s capital city, Brasilia. Romulo’s mother gave he and his siblings hope when things looked at their worst, always believing that everything happened for a reason.

Romulo Pires

“My mother is really religious,” Romulo has said, “and she said that God has a plan for all of us.” Romulo also recounts how his mother has been proud of his accomplishments because his successful modeling career has not only helped him to improve his own circumstances, but has also allowed him to care for his family and move them to a better place to live.

The next time you see a picture of Romulo Pires, look for his sign of loyalty to his mother on his left shoulder blade, a tattoo of the name “Cleopatra,” a sign of honor and respect for the woman who continues her influence on Romulo to this very day.

A Chance Encounter Brings Success For Romulo Pires

Romulo Pires has often said that “Life is a box of surprises, and we never know what will happen next year.” His unpredictable life has certainly proven his motto true, but it also provides the lesson that something remarkable can happen to anyone at any time, especially when he or she least expects it.

Today, Romulo Pires may be an international supermodel known from Paris to Milan who has had the pleasure of working with Gisele Bundchen and Sienna Miller, and has been photographed by Helmut Newton and Mario Testino, but it wasn’t always this way for him. Pires was raised in Brazil by a single mother in a family of five, with three other brothers and one sister. Like any self-respecting Brazilian boy growing up, Romulo set his sights on a career in soccer, and completed his schooling with that simple plan in the forefront of his mind. Little did he know how his life would change through a chance encounter at work.

While Pires was employed as a mechanic in Brazil, the woman whose flat tire he was repairing asked him if he had ever considered modeling, to which he answered, “Of course not.” The lady, who turned out to be scouting agent Marina Sakamoto, suggested that he enter a modeling contest hosted by the Elite Model Agency, for which he won first prize. Although his modeling career seemed stalled for some time at the beginning, he caught the eye of Karl Lagerfeld, Creative Director for the House of Chanel, and a life of high profile advertising campaigns was begun.

Although it has required a lot of hard work to get where he is today as one of the top models in the world, Romulo Pires has never forgotten the kindness of the people who helped him get where he is. If Pires has one piece of advice for aspiring models, it is to “Keep true to yourself and always try to be the best that you can be. Modeling is a business where everybody is doing their best and they are always prepared.” Especially since life is full of surprises.

Romulo Pires Shares His Success

Yes, Romulo Pires, the Brazilian born supermodel, was voted one of People Magazine’s 2006 Sexiest Men Alive, and yes, he has walked runways for Giorgio Armani, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel. He has also graced the pages of GQ Brazil, Elle Men Mexico, and Details Magazine, among many more too numerous to name. In his time, Pires has represented luxury brands as esteemed as Christian Lacroix, Caroline Herrera, CK One, and Gucci, in addition to practically every other designer brand imaginable, and could also be seen cavorting with Madonna in a 2009 issue of W magazine. Yes, all of these things are true, but that’s not necessarily what Romulo Pires wants you to know about his life.

For example, Pires is one of five children raised by a single mother, but also one of thirteen children if you count the eight additional siblings from his father’s side. Perhaps this is where he developed the gratitude to always remember the people who have helped him get where he is in life. Always one to share his success, Pires claims that his mother has expressed her pride in him for not just changing his life through modeling, but his brothers’ lives as well by moving them to a better place to live in their hometown of Samambaia, Brazil.

Romulo’s mother can also be proud of the support that he gives the nonprofit volunteer organization New York Cares in his recently adopted hometown of New York City. New York Cares mobilizes over 56,000 volunteers annually, for a total of 1,500 unique projects per month to serve over 400,000 disadvantaged New Yorkers. While Romulo Pires clearly appreciates the perks of being one of the most distinctive supermodels working in fashion today, he has never forgotten the importance of lending a helping hand when he can.

Model Romulo Pires is Always Ready for a Challenge

Romulo Pires, darling of the luxury brands, doesn’t like to sit and wait for life to happen to him. Romulo is of the mindset that if there’s something in life he wants, he must go out and get it for himself. It took only a suggestion from Marina Sakomoto when he was just 18, to turn Romulo’s life upside down. One moment he is changing a tire in a garage, the next he is jet-setting all over the world to represent various luxury brands like Gucci, Valentino, Lagerfeld Gallery, Chanel, cK1 and a myriad of others.

Romulo Pires

Being a Gemini, Romulo Pires admits to loving surprises, and never wanting to be stuck doing the same thing. His modeling career sends him to exotic locales all over the world, and this suits Romulo just fine. He has experienced crazy things in Tokyo with Karl Lagerfeld at the Shibuya Crossing, walked runways in Paris and Milan for Louis Vuitton, John Galliano, Giorgio Armani and Etro, and even kissed Madonna during a shoot for “W” Magazine in 2009.

Romulo Pires

Now living in the New York City area, Romulo is also an active philanthropist. The main charity he contributes to and is active in is New York Cares. This volunteer organization is dedicated to helping New Yorkers anyway they can, through year round volunteer opportunities, disaster preparedness and response, youth service opportunities, holiday coat and gift drive, and many others.

Romulo Pires

Even though Romulo Pires has shot all over the world, there is still one place that for him remains unconquerable. Romulo has always loved learning about the history of the Himalayas, and would especially love to shoot on the foothills of Mt. Everest. Perhaps it is the direct contrast of Brazil and the snowy, cold climate of Nepal that appeals to him.

Romulo Pires

Maintaining his exquisite physique is a daily job for Romulo, and one of the training methods he uses is practicing the Thai combat sport, Muay Thai. This sport combines the use of fists, elbows, knees, shins and feet, making it an excellent overall workout, as well as an extremely challenging one, which is what makes it especially appealing to Romulo.

Romulo Pires – Brazilian Born Top Model has a Love for the Exotic

As a boy, Romulo Pires never thought about leaving Brazil and exploring the world. He couldn’t know at the time that fate would step in one day when he was 18, and set him on a course for faraway places and exotic locations. Fate had a name – Marina Sakamoto – a talent scout from a modeling agency in Brasilia. She convinced him to enter a modeling competition which he eventually won.

Romulo Pires

Throughout his career, Romulo Pires has traveled the world for campaigns and runway shows. He has worked for some of the world’s most prominent, luxury brands including Pepe Jeans, Christian Lacroix, Lagerfeld Gallery, cK1, Bloomingdales, Cartier, Macy’s, Gucci and Valentino. Along the way, he has also worked for some of the most talented photographers including Juan Aldabaldetrecu and Steven Meisel.

Romulo Pires

Romulo Pires loves his professional modeling career because it has afforded him the opportunity to not only pick up other languages, like Italian and French, but also because he enjoys having a job that is always changing, always taking him to new places and meeting new people. He has traveled to Japan’s Shibuya Crossing with Karl Lagerfeld and been engulfed in a sea of Japanese people, and talks fondly about the experience because in the end, the shoot was highly successful.

Romulo Pires

Paris is the City of Lights, it’s the City of Love, and it’s the Fashion Capitol of the World. Paris is also Romulo Pires’ favorite fashion city because their style of living fascinates him, and the ancient city with its cathedrals and beautiful architecture makes him feel like he’s living in the past. He has had the opportunity to travel to Paris to walk the Louis Vuitton and John Galliano shows in 2008. He also traveled to nearby Milan to walk a show for fashion icons Giorgio Armani and Etro.

Romulo Pires

Everyone has a bucket list of things they want to do before they die. Professionally, shooting at Mt. Everest is on Romulo Pires’ bucket list because he has always had an intense fascination and curiosity about the Himalayas, and the history behind Mt. Everest. Personally, he would love to visit the Solomon Islands near Papua New Guinea. At the rate Romulo is going, shooting everywhere around the world; it’s certainly only a matter of time before he can scratch these two items off his bucket list.

Gorgeous Model Romulo Pires Gets Personal

Hailing from Brazilian and Italian ancestry, super-hot model Romulo Pires has a face that is loved by both fans and companies alike. He is proud to have represented luxury brand campaigns for Gucci, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Pepe Jeans and others. He has also appeared in magazines such as Glamour, V Man, GQ (Spanish and Korean), Upstreet, and Vanity Fair.

Romulo Pires

As much as Romulo Pires loves his modeling career, he fondly maintains a personal life that is rich with family, friends and adventure. He comes from a family of 13 children, which might explain his affable personality and cooperative attitude. Upon signing his first modeling contract, his mother was extraordinarily proud of Romulo, not just for changing his own life for the better, but for helping to improve the lives of his entire family.

Romulo Pires

Flashing his brilliant smile and brooding bedroom eyes into the cameras of famous editorial photographers, he has gained quite a number of fans who adore him. His advice on dating is simply to work your hardest to find someone who cares about you, so you can care wholeheartedly about them back.

Romulo Pires

Maintaining such a strong, sculpted physique is easy for Romulo because he engages in a daily exercise and diet routine. Romulo runs daily, and eats six small meals throughout the day to keep his metabolism running high. For fun, exercise, and for keeping those perfect muscles toned, he also plays soccer and practices the combat sport Muay Thai.

Romulo Pires

Romulo Pires’ typical non-working day includes playing pool or cards with friends, going to the bar or theater with friends or playing tennis. Some of the people Romulo counts among his friends include fellow models Philip Huang, Owen Steuart, and Evandro Soldati.

Romulo Pires

Romulo is fond of traveling the world for modeling, and one of his favorite memories is when he traveled to Shibuya Crossing in Japan. He was there with Karl Lagerfeld for a W Magazine shoot, and when the Japanese spotted Karl, they became entranced, because they consider him the “Fashion Emperor.” The models were lost in this crowd of thousands, and when they finally found each other, they were jubilant and laughing and the shoot came together beautifully with the sea of Japanese people as their background.
